One day I decided I wanted to do a night shoot at the local skate spot. But when we got there everything went wrong, the wind was extremly cold and my car's outlet didn't have enough power for my flood lights. So we went back another day with a gas powered generator and the teperature in the 60s.

Portraits

These photos are of my girlfriend, Devin. I used some really simple clamp light with some wax paper to help disperse the light so it wouldn't be so harsh on her face.  The background is just ordinary wrapping paper. I definitely love taking pictures of people more than anything because I really like to make people feel good about themselves when they look back at these photoshoots.

The top images were achieved with the help of a light box, which is basically a portable studio. The flower pin photos were taken for a friend who is currently in the process of creating a website to sell her hand made jewelry.
